The Premise

I have heard it said that a flawed premise can only lead to a flawed conclusion.  I would like to share my premise for the reader's consideration:

1. The energy and power of the universe and beyond is, according to science, precisely the same whether it is manifest as an atom of a one-celled amoeba or a star in some far away galaxy.  That which we call space is, in fact, a sea of energy.  Everything visible and invisible is energy, and that energy is the same.  Form can be destroyed, but energy is indestructible.

2. The Bible calls that energy God and personalizes God by calling God "Father"...one God and Father of all who is above all, through all and in you all!  Anything left out?  I don't think so.

3. This God energy is omniscient, or all-knowing; omnipotent, or all-powerful; omnipresent, or everywhere.

4. This all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere God is Love!  This loving universal energy only flows or evolves forward and upward.  In other words, God energy never regresses and only progresses; therefore, the universe only says, "yes!"  The scripture says, "all of the promises of God are yes and amen in Christ!"

If I had been asked five years ago or fifty years ago if I believed the previously set forth premise, I would have said yes.  The way I prayed and otherwise referenced God would have indicated, however,  that my premise was nothing like the one just postulated.  For example, I prayed for God to come help me as though everywhere God needed to move to get to me.  I prayed so as to inform all-knowing God of my plight.  I prayed in hopes that this loving, all-powerful God would find it in his heart to answer my prayer.  So either I didn't hold the premise above mentioned or I suffered from schizophrenia!

Becoming consciously aware of this premise that I had claimed earlier to believe resulted in a reformation of all my previous conditioning.  If the axiomatic truth described in the beginning is your truth, then I am inviting you to join me as in the coming days, weeks, and months I explore specific and detailed subjects like:

Who and what is God?

What and where is heaven?

What and where is hell?

Who and what is the devil?

Should I be sick?

Should I be poor?

Should I die?

...and many others.

If interested, stay tuned.  In the meantime, thanks for reading, and may we all become friends!
